Entre Vinhas & Mar has 3 houses, each one consisting of two independent rooms and with an entrance from the outside. All equipped with a kettle, minibar, coffee machine, microwave, plates, cutlery and glasses for ready-made meals, private bathroom and a pleasant porch overlooking the vineyard and the pool.
The units in which the rooms are located are named after the female figures of the family – House Ofélia, House Salete and House Digna -, as influential as they are inspiring, striking in the history and private sphere, in the genesis of this project.
The grape varieties gave names to the rooms, informal and cozy. Get to know them!
Fernão-Pires is a wine variety which gives the wine a floral and fruity aroma. Its color has green and yellow tones and the berries are round and small.
It results in wines with a vast variety of characteristics, which reflect the conditions of the place on which it was grown.
Solo or accompanied with other wine varieties, Fernão-Pires originates wines with strong floral aromas, with a low alcohol content and reduced acidity.
A white grape variety from the grape family vitis vinifera cultivated, in general, in all regions of Portugal, especially on the slopes of Bucelas, which form a micro-climate with large daily variations in temperature, when the berries ripen, and which gives them a special flavor. It is a grape with a citrus flavor and aroma. Its color is yellowish-green, with a small/medium and rounded berry.
Trincadeira is a red grape variety from the grape family vitis vinifera, grown essentially in Alentejo, the Douro region and Ribatejo.
It is a small to medium and uniform grape variety, with a rounded shape and a bluish-black color. The wines produced by this variety acquire a strong flavor and an aroma of fruits and vegetables.
Castelão is a Portuguese red grape variety known in the Setubal region as Periquita, also called João de Santarém or Castelão Francês. Although it is grown throughout the country, it stands out especially in the coastal regions to the south and sometimes enters the constitution of Port Wine.
Productive, serous budding variety.
It produces wines with medium to high alcohol content and medium fixed acidity.
Fruity aroma, with a certain distinction and slight complexity. Flavor denoting a certain freshness, balance and some persistence.
It is a variety of medium to strong vigor, quite interesting and that adapts well to the usual rootstocks; wind resistant, it does well in areas of maritime influence. Particularly suitable for light and young wines, it reveals an aptitude for quality blended wines, producing wines with a medium graduation, fruity, balanced and delicate, while young.
