The Óbidos Medieval Fair is one of the most emblematic events of the village, had it not been a medieval one. This market involves the local communities, who dress up in an event of historical recreation, which transforms Óbidos in a Middle Ages borough, providing visitors with a unique experience that will lead them in a timeless travel among Kings and Queens, Dames and Knights.

The medieval market had its first edition in 2002 and since then has been a success! The event takes place normally between July and August, having only been interrupted during the covid-19 pandemic.
